I've seen dude play in person and he was out there dominating. Im just waiting to see how he will do against top notch competion in college before I can say how high he will be drafted. Gordon is nice out there tho :salute:

I think Shawn Marion more so than Beasley and Blake.

In his case he started that transition from PF to SF as a junior in HS, so he might end up being a 3 in the league. I'd be more worried about Julius Randle's position in the league.

Randle is 6'9", he's a PF, he plays like a PF, what the issue with his position?

Ive never gotten over the fact that since i started watching basketball in 2007 i have expected the following:

Greg Oden
Xavier Henry
Bj Mullens
Greg Monroe
Josh Selby
Derrick Favors
Michael Beasley
and etc..

to be stars because of prep hype. I thought it would be stars every year like football :duck:. I feel like the specialization of the nba leaves a lot of the world's basketball talent untapped or something.

Oden got hurt so he shouldnt be on the list. But Henry and Selby are the classic cases of players who left too early. BJ Mullens probably should have stayd too but he does at least get some burn for the Bobcats. Monroe is good but he doesnt have that mentality to be dominant. Derrick probably will never reach his potential but he will still have a good career. And Beasley is just a headcase. But for everyone hyping Gordon, if he is as good as advertised he will be fine in the NBA. As long as he gets to about 6-9 he can play the power forward spot. Lets not forget that Blake or Kevin Love are not a true 6-10 and they seem to be doing alright.

In Dallas, From Cleveland
If he doesn't buy into the hype and stays in school for 3-4 years and goes to a good program he could be a beast...

But we know he'll come out after his freshman season and end up being like Gerald Green

He wants to play on the perimeter, watch him some more, he tries to take people off the dribble all the time.

True but i think the nba these days is a little more tweener friendly then it used to be wit the game getting smaller plus i can see him doing what Melo does in abusing the 3's physically and being too fast for 4's

Gordon id be more worried beign a tweener because he doesnt have tas much skill as Randle.. he seems like a more athletic Derick Williams with a beter motor and a better passer

I think Gordon will be able to play the 3 in the league though, if Williams and Beasley could defend the position you'd be able to get away with them playing there. That has always been the issue for tweeners, they can't defend the position, but Gordon looks athletic enough to do it.

blake and love were posting people up with their backs to the basket in college. they were also much stronger then most of their competition. at the collegiate level.
