damn that's no bueno :francis::francis: man hopefully i can handle this shyt son. if i can survive NY winters and snowstorms then i can survive Houston/Dallas summers and heat

If it helps I'm from CT and I much prefer the crazy heat here to those fukked up winters there.

Benefits-really anything you want to do you can do here in Houston or close by.
no state income tax. Low housing costs.

I already know this summer is going to be bad, it was already feeling hot today around 1:00 pm :why: I need to make sure I'm all the way on point so I can dress accordingly :mjlol:

When Houston gets to the 90's plus you can walk outside be our for 2 minutes and your skin feels like it's burning. But you get use to it. I run in this weather. You just need A/C. I never even knew it was a big deal until I got older. Louisiana seemed hotter to me. I used to say it was like the Devil breathing its hot breath on you when the wind blew.

There's lots of money out here if you want it.
My house here is twice as big as my house was in VA and cost a little less.
And VA prices were much much better than up north.

For me personally I feel like I've experienced the most southern hospitality here in Texas and Louisiana.

I'm really glad we decided to settle down here. (Hubby's born and raised here)

Yea, I mean it can be dangerous to jog or work out, outside period. You have to make sure to stay super hydrated. But I think it builds endurance.

I'm from Houston lived in Louisiana for a little bit came back. Louisiana seemed worse to me maybe because I'm use to Houston.

Don't know how hot dallas is in the summer, but houston is usually around the high 80's to mid-to-high 90's sometimes in the low 100's.

Try working in a warehouse ran by mexicans in the summer, making A/Cs, while having no A/C n the entire work floor and only getting 1 30 minute break :martin:
