Late on this by a year, saw the article link. Some things that are true that should be pointed out.
-When Jake Robles was dying in the hospital, Suge ran back to Compton, never retaliated as far as Atl is concerned.
-The police questioning actually did not turn up with eye witnesses to the actual shooting itself, except for one off duty cop working security, who claims he chased Wolf, who he saw with a gun around the club and in pursuit heard the gun shots and ran towards the shots instead. Also he claimed he saw Wolf pass the gun before running.
-People also Witnessed Wolf and security taking a large group of people outside before the shooting.
-According to Mark Curry , Jason Brown a Ny hustler who was living in Atl was part of the argument, and allegedly the actual shooter.
-To make this even more complex, it has been now said that Orlando Anderson and Keefy D were both at Jermaine Duprees birthday party with a large entourage. Witnesses had described the argument involving men in all blue.
-The Original story mentioned Suge Knight and Jake at the party with other people from Compton, and also mentions Crips were there, but never clarifies whether they were with Suge(Pre Tupac Suge).
-The Original article also stated that the Guys with Suge were joking on the Ny guys with Wolf, but stated Suge said, "Why you hanging with those ny busters?" And Wolf didnt respond. Which implies he was talking to someone not from Ny.
-Security at the club said Wolf got on a Radio, and told someone that they were not staying, and were leaving. This implies , similar to Mark Currys account that he was not directly involved in the standoff with Jake Robles.
-Puff Daddy has a rep of getting his foot too deep in issues that dont involve, which is something Suge mentioned in the past.
- Suge and Puff were friends before this incident. Suge has gone on record saying that he did not think Puffy killed Jake, but that Puffy was a punk surrounded by goons. He claimed he asked Puff to either deliver the shooter, his information, or do it himself. Suge said that my friends life was taken, I expect my friend to help especially if Atl is his territory. Puff back peddled, and said he wasnt about that life. Suge claims that on at least one other occasion he approached him about sitting down privately and speaking , on the condition of no body guards. Puff also denied that request.
