Just so people don’t get too happy, disapproval doesn’t equal not voting for Trump.

Not voting for Republicans isn’t something that comes easy to many of these rank and file people. They’ll vote in Republican Senators to handicap the Dems than genuinely understanding that these dudes are disasters.

Told you guys. After the rally around the flag increase, this was always gonna happen. People see it every time he does a press conference. He doesn't give a fukk about people's lives and is utterly incapable of displaying remorse or sympathy (two emotions he associates with weakness, btw). Look at Governor Cuomo's data and chart driver press conferences...and also the way he makes things personal by discussing his family or friends impacted. Then look at Trump. Now look at Trump for a few more weeks of this. Yea...

He's fukked. The wildcard here is that this is a man who has no true principles outside of self interest/gain. Meaning that he might be willing to do anything to get re-elected, including giving people $3000 a month. That being said, the GOP already dropped the ball on the first stimulus ($1200). Maybe he's just not good at this shyt and will simply go down with the ship. He better start getting more creative, fast.

The facts are the following: there is a virus going around. it's highly contagious and spreads rapidly. it causes people with underlying health conditions become much worse off, and can damage healthy people too. You don't want to catch it, and you definitely don't want your elder family catching it. My moms is over 70 and my pops is over 60 and them catching rona might mean them dying.

These are rational facts.

Whether or not someone thinks this is something to be in fear of, is up to them. But you gotta remember, your personal freedoms end where others safety and health are concerned. Personally, getting sick of anything is not something that should be glossed over. I don't understand you saying fear mongering, when rational facts are presented. People can die from this virus, that is established. People die of other causes, sure. People die of AIDS, but HIV is only transmitted through sex or needle sharing.

This virus is mild on death scale, yet because it spreads so easily it's doing mad work. It spreads worse than flu, and is more deadly. This is also a fact. You can choose to not be worried about it, but I think its perfectly reasonable for someone to be worried, especially if they are used to social congregations or they work with people. Or they have health conditions.

even though its down now, i would say either the polls werent up to date with the extent of the crisis when this was post was made, trumps followers are cult members and really not just him the GOP voters are cultish in general and sometimes just being the leader in a crisis gets you credit even if you dont do much. like how bush jr had a high approval after 9/11
