Nah, I'll tell you why I'm hard on simps in some cases.

- Guy I don't even know starts simping; it's weird and he's obviously trying to get something from me.

- Guy I've already turned down continues to simp like the thing is mutual and I'm just gonna change my mind eventually; it's creepy as fukk.

Now there's the guys who actually don't go overboard with simping, simply by acting like they've got some sanity. Like, if he's just met me, he shouldn't simp me like we're in a long term relationship and I'm his damned soul mate. It's weird and sudden and utterly baseless. He should AT LEAST expect that a complete stranger is gonna have some boundaries and he's not gonna get anything he wants simply by simping hard enough.

Now if I like the guy and the guy likes me and we both have history together, we'll stay simping each other. Mutually. Because that's the relationship we've built over time and then it becomes sweet instead of weird.

you've just described a "nice guy" I think. Those dudes are too stupid to notice they'll never get any play, and just bumble along life being nice..they finish last lol.
