The time off has been a lot of things

Boring :shaq2:
Stressful :damn:
Relaxing :blessed:
Financially beneficial :leon:

so overall it’s all the same. Kinda crazy living through a social-health-economic event of this magnitude. Olympics only been cancelled due to war before this, international travel bans, no sports, toilet paper outages :dahell: pretty interesting if you’re able to remove yourself from the hysteria

I have anxiety over the uncertainty and chaos of everything. I also worry for my father, who is in his mid seventies, and my teenage daughter. This shyt already has fukked up my money TREMENDOUSLY. Which also gives me feelings of hopelessness and despair. Smh. This shyt is just a fukked up situation all of the way around. A pandemic like this hasn't happened in any of our lifetimes. The only thing even remotely comparable in history is The Spanish Flu of 1918, which killed millions. This shyt has the potential to be worse than that. Smh.

Above the fray.
I struggled growing up as most people have.

But this plus growing up poor still makes me wish I had more money saved.

People out here losing their jobs and shyt.

Its sad.
you'll be fine

If you grew up poor ,you know what survive-mode is. You can fall back into that when you need to.

I got some money saved up. I know a gang of people that lost their jobs. I know people still working. I know people working from home. I know people donating blood to buy groceries.

It is what it is. It's serious and very fukked up but things will eventually get better.

And nah....it don't seem like many people on here struggled. Cats on here spent years talking about they're in the hood or from the hood or grew up poor....one week of this shyt and they're acting like the god damn world is ending.

It hasn’t hit me yet. I haven’t missed a paycheck, I’ve spent less with businesses closed and not needing to go into the office, and I already saved a pretty big nest egg.

The longer this drags out, the more this will weigh on me, tho. No sports, little social life. It ain’t the way to live. :francis:
