Delusional? I seen more of parsons than anyone on this board probably and probably just as much as Hayward as you. Parsons has a better efg% and ts. That's all I disputed besides the fact that he's also better scorer. He's not athletic. It's no huge gap of blanket between the two but neither is a max type player. Defensively I think parsons is better man to man but Hayward is a beast on the help defense and better blocker. Hayward is a better facilitator/ created for his teammates.

Smh you cats kill me tryin to call somebody delusional because a persons speaks on I Ayer that plays for his squad, that he sees more than others
Ive watched every Rockets game and every Jazz game this season so nah, kill that noise.

Look, you're just not able to be objective about your team's players, this is well documented already. You're a homer :yeshrug: hardly the only one on here.

I like Parsons and he is not better offensively or defensively than Hayward. Parsons is a good finisher around the basket but his non-existent handle means he cant consistently get his own shot outside of a dribble pull-up or clear path dunk. Keep in mind that Hayward is also the main guy teams are focusing on, he doesnt have a Dwight and Harden around him to make things easier.

Not even aaboutnparsons to me. I just think ppl overrate Hayward. If you want to call him better than parsons than so be it. Bu heyward does not create his own shot. He has trouble doing so without a screen. He nice off the screen, but he's not a go to guy to score. If you seen jazz game you see all the scoring droughts they go through and you see that Hayward isn't the guy that gets them out of it. The only player on that team that can possibly create their own offense/shot is John Lucas. I'll pull up the thread on jazzfanz where they were talkin about Hayward and then starts comparing him to parsons and talkin who they rather have

White version of Wesley Mathews

He's a very good offensive player and a decent defender but he's to inconsistent to ever be a superstar. On any given night he can drop 25 and 8 or 12 and 4. Put him on a team like the Bulls and they win a title, make him the franchise player and your in for a world of hurt. He's worth 8-10 mil a year.

Parsons is only good on assisted plays and can't really handle the ball and create for himself. Hypothetically speaking if Utah called and said we would give you Hayward for Parsons Houston would make that deal in a heart beat. Hayward has a chance of making a All Star team or two I don't think Parson will ever though.

He's one player I've never really recalled watched play but he's asking for a max contract from Utah like 4 years 60 mill

A whiteboy guard playing like a franchise player having 20+ nights regularly

How good is he? Potential? Who he play like?

I think he's close to his ceiling. He's a good player tho. Average athleticism, but a workhorse. Good shooter, decent defender. I don't know if a max deal is warranted, but they kind of give those away so...

He can play and showed good improvement over the years. Quick first step and decent defender. Plus he looks like that all American whiteboy that those Utah Mormons would love in their fold. Let's be real, If anybody should be the face of the Utah jazz franchise it's him. Am I lying? :manny:

I would say Enes Kanter is more the face of Utah's populace, though - big, pale, antiquated name, underwhelming.

he aint a max dude but he's worth a decent contract

something like 4/$44M would be reasonable for Hayward :manny:

I'd still go with the Manu comparison

He's just as athletic and he loves driving and doing that Euro step
