Black folk at work wouldn't be any more or less than the black folk you meet going about your daily business, regardless of what type of company they for at/for. Some will be cool, some won't, and your experience with them will in part depend on what type of energy you're putting out.

Yeah, one of the IT managers I had was a breh from Philly and another from NY...it was all good.

I had a "breh" who was an IT Manager who threw me under the bus every chance that he had and nearly cost me my career and fukked up at least one subsequent interview....I was young and didn't know any better...

My policy is that I try to get along with every Black person. If I don't like them I won't try to derail them. I just won't interact with them.

I'd say in terms of Black people I had a few checkered experienced with two Black women that were my managers but overall I haven't had problems.
