It's literally like saying not getting bacon on your burger is selfish. Before you laugh think about it.
Everybody has a choice of what goes on their burger. Some like bacon. Others don't. Some can handle bacon better than others.
Having kids is a choice. Yes it carries way more responsibility but it's still all about choices. Folks shouldn't be judged for it. We as a human race need more self awareness as a whole. It leads to more happiness. If you don't want kids(regardless of the reason or even if you lack a reason) that is your choice.
Nothing against bacon on burgers by the way because I'll tear it up with cheddar cheese and mustard.
Why is this missing from society, why do people that want and have kids feel the need to shame or judge others that either aren’t yet ready or know they don’t want them.
Everything ain’t for everyone and just because it’s for you and it make you feel better that doesn’t mean that’s going to make me feel better.
I used to tell people that all the time when I was in my fukking 20’s as to why I don’t have kids. I would say because I’m not done being selfish yet. And then because I’m not found a girl I want to marry. And I’m not married because I don’t make enough money. Whether people want to admit it or not all these things require financial stability and most of us don’t have that until our late 30’s
