How is Pusha T able to do what Meek Mill couldn't do?

Beef has costs breh... Neither of their teams want a head on collision

Cole would have never go at Drake ... they both biracial n!ggas with white mothers

:comeon::camby: @ it having costs. This is hip hop, a king needs to be crowned :damn:. The two biggest acts going at it is good for the culture :ohlawd:

You right about Cole though :mjlol:

Lol @ some of these reasons.
Pusha had a chatty patty’s number. That’s it. Had Meek had the number...
And if Pusha didn’t have that info, we’d be listening to and analyzing Drake’s come back as we speak. :manny:

I made a post a few days ago...when you get past the memes and internet shyt the rap game has a food chain in terms of raw ability.

Drake as a rapper is superior to "roli on my wrist" Meek.

Push as a rapper is superior to Drake.

At the end of the day the better rapper won both beefs.

He attacked Drake while he was on tour. Drake was already in “album mode” since he was working on Views. He was able to hit the booth and dish out fast responses. Meek wasn’t able to do that.
He had a lot of info to go at Drake, like Pusha, but he just did a very poor execution.

Meek was definitely more popular at the time, meek came with hard receipts on the ghostwriting shyt. Meek mentioned drake getting pissed on.

How is Pusha having more success than meek off a 2 minute diss song?

It's called research .You have to study your opponent. Pusha took this serious. Meek just brushed it off.

Drake was ON FIRE back then....

In 2018, he's still hot - but 2014-2015 he was untouchable

Drake isn't as untouchable anymore.

Meek kinda paved the way for Push to assassinate him

Meek did minor damage... Push came thru later and bodied him.
Ehhhhh....I sorta disagree. In 2018, I think Drake is the most commercially successful he has ever been in his career. Every song he puts out or is featured on ends up being being top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.

I think everything that happened in 2015 is what elevated him to where he is now.

the difference is pusha t controlled the narrative and made the battle about rap and silenced all the pop fans on social media & corporate sponsors.

also, it helps that pusha isn't a recognizable name outside of hip-hop, like meek. so a lot of the casuals & pop-tarts aren't invested in this.

the meek/drake chit wasn't even a battle. people don't even realize that meek only released a snippet.

also, I don't think meek was expecting there to be a battle. he was out on tour when he exposed drake. I wasn't expecting a battle either, but I didn't realize the culture was 100% dead. the hip-hop community was supposed to take drake to task when the reference tracks dropped. but instead, they let him come out with a blatantly ghostwritten diss track.

These "dumb" comments :rudy:

Meek is not an idiot. He didn't get where he is today by being an idiot. His pen game is strong, not as strong as Push but he has made some classic records. Meek no had plan, no strategy, and he thought people would care about ghost writing but cacs and suburbs don't give a shyt about who writes what because they are all culture vultures.

If this was the 90s Meek would have seriously did damage to Drake wit that. Now nobody cares. shyt, some of these Drake stans are defending blackface too :dead: :mjlol:

Cause purely as a rapper, Meek isn't all that. If you strip Drake and Meek down to their core, neither one are that different as far as rapping ability. Pusha T is an elite level MC.

This is absurd. Drake is nowhere near the rap artist that Meek is. He's good in the pop lane, but I'm a rap fan and Meek's work is much better

Meek went the street route and don't none of Drake's fans care bout the streets.

Pusha was on some chatty patty shyt and that's what folks care about.

I never really gave Drake a dub for Meek. He had the hotter diss but dat man basically hoed you out on 2-3 tracks and you aint do shyt. Came to Philly with a whole precinct. No real nikka would respect that

Opioid Meek probably wouldn't listen to anyone in terms of collecting dirt or improving his diss tracks :deadmanny:

The most disappointing thing about this whole situation is that nobody like Kendrick or Cole exposed Drake, they could have washed him and really put him to bed being in the same class of peers and with a similar level of popularity :snoop:.

Them guys are too nice for that. I feel KDot got close during the Control fiasco but decided to let it go. The "Rapper with a ghostwriter ,wtf happen' line was definitely directed at Drake before any of us knew it was.
