How is Ready To Die better than Reasonable Doubt? Why is Big supposedly better overall?

RTD is a slightly more consistent album. Ain't No nikka and Coming of Age hurt Reasonable Doubt slightly. Both 4 Star albums but RTD has a tiny edge.
Btw notice how comfortable BIG was making club hits? He never had to dumb his self down to double his dollars.

Past that, jay is a technical revolution direction based rapper.

That reads like a who's who of the greatest dark horse talent in the history of rap.
That includes names from big l, to geuchi suede to sauce money to jaz.
Big was a styles war era one syllable gangsta rapper.
who had to be given an incubation window to solidify his skill set that lasted from late 91, to the spring of 95.
While jay is a golden era sellout rapper.
who took much longer to solidify a skill set.
Which we see now was all from connection to styles morphing over higher skilled contemporaries.
So, people will take the high road out of this discussion.
to prop big out sentimentalism in an end of the day type situation of the discussion
Yet, skillwise for that time jayz had higher principle skilled people.
to styles moroh off of and that is also why the execution skillwise for that era. jay, was able to create a higher quality record from studying the jiggyness of bad boy.
Combined with being around higher skilled emcees. who were advanced technical marvel before and during the styles war era.
Jay being a styles morph and already with sellout pedigree allowed him to bite and infringe upon the direction and skill set of the rap game and his peers.
