Fantastic Vol. 2 is one of those albums you can play in any season. In the summer, in the Winter, riding around with your lady, smoking with the homies while it plays in the background. Not to mention, this was Dilla at his apex imo. It's truly timeless music for me :blessed:

Dilla be having the illest bass lines with the side chain compression.

I think it was Madlib talking about Dilla's music when he said something along the lines of "Pay attention to the low end, the kick and bass not just the top melody." When you realize that a lot of those basslines are the result of intricate chopping and programming, as a beatmaker it's just :ohhh:
