How is the Parkng situation on your street?

Have my own driveway now. Grew up in Queens where i could park right in front of my parents house or driveway. As I got older I moved to East New York, Brooklyn where I was renting an apartment and thats what I hated the most, finding parking. At the time, I lived cross the street from a high school so 8-9 months out of the year, you couldnt park on that side at all from 7-4, every weekday. Then from like 12-130 on tuesdays and thursdays there was streetsweep in effect. Mind you, I worked overnight at the time, so I would have to wake up in the middle of the day to move my car for the hour or so. There were days where I had to park like 2 blocks away. I got out of Brooklyn as quickly as possible.

i hate workin in williamsburg cuz of the fkn parking!

at least in the Bronx ppl double park for a bit but its impossible in Bk.

i always wonder how people do their groceries...if u dnt find a space close to the house ur beat, n then u still gotta make multiple trips! FOH!

The last place I lived, you couldn't have your car on the street after 2am. It sucked if you had a one lane driveway like we did.

Queens for the most part is heaven for drivers. Most of the borough I think has no alternate side parking and almost all of Staten Island doesn’t have it either.

In Williamsburg people probably do groceries by the week so they walk with their stuff or take the subway.
