trance afaik was started in northern europe... that had a lot to do with it

but og chicago house, detroit techno, drum and bass, uk garage, bassline house, uk funky...all pioneered by blacks. uk culture especially when it comes to music is so far ahead of the states. so many scenes and so much more diverse and accepting compared to how hip hop is in the states today (pure fukkary). this is facts too... but uk "street music" dudes take that artist shyt seriously. it isnt a "copy someone hot and come up" situation like we have here
