he shot terrible but that team looks trash to me ... he should be ok in the nba tho ... bigger court better spacing better surrounding talent ... even if his team misses the tourney I still think he goes top 3-5
:yeshrug:

None of that matters if any one player can d you up. He's shorter than Curry, less athletic, and less dangerous off the dribble. His finishing game at the rim is terrible, and unless he develops Kyrie-like magic there it's not going to get much better, as he simply isn't athletic enough to get himself around the rim on most drives. As I said before I love his bball IQ and range, but I don't see him being anything more than a role player in the NBA.

Does what you do off the ball depends on the system you're in :patrice:
Not always......
At this point if Trae don't have the ball he useless .

You think Curry been running the same offense since College or he is adapt at off ball.

You just suggested two franchises that will be career enders for him, why do you hate Trae so

The Suns have a rich history when it comes to the PG position.

Kevin Johnson, Jason Kidd, Steve Nash...etc..etc

To a lesser extent, even Goran Dragic in the 2nd rd.

Historically, it's the one position they tend to get right.

Maybe Trae can continue the tradition...

But imagine:

Trae
Booker
Josh Jackson
Bender
Ayton

If they all play up to their potential, should be a guaranteed playoff team by 2020

Trae will be aight. He just ain’t gonna he a superstar. I mean he might. But if he does it’s because he added a lotta shyt to his repetoire. This Trae ain’t gonna be top dawg in the nba. And he’s folding under pressure. He’s got work to do. :yeshrug:. Good he doing cooling off now. He may have unintentionally ducked a bust # 1 pick.

I always though with his current skill set he’s a mid first rounder.

As far as Ayton, right now, they have the worst record in the league.Just having fun with the odds.

On top of that, they own Miami's 1st rd pick this year.As of today, Miami's sitting at pick #15.

They also own Miami's 1st rounder next year. They could probably put together a package like both Miami picks

and Marques Chriss to move back into the top 10....If Trae starts to slide down in that 7-8-9 area.

Theoretically coming away with Ayton & Trae.Hell, I'd even take Michael Porter Jr & Trae...Jaren Jackson & Trae ..etc.etc

Add that to Devin Booker, Josh Jackson, TJ Warren, and Dragan Bender.Suns would be sitting lovely

He's not asked to do that in OK and he's literally the only playmaker....overall team is garbage but he's been in enough camps and played enough basketball to be effective off the ball. If not then it's a easy fix. It ain't hard to keep moving
Him being looking so fail and not having the best shot selection I feel another year would help improve those two things.
His shot selection has gotten progressively worst because of the D he's seeing. He has dudes playing corner back on him on the basketball court....some shots he just pulls before the help defender comes. With his vision, passing and shooting ability, he'll be good at the next level.

A.This nikka has not been getting played 1on1 lol so I don’t know how you’re determining his likelihood of being locked down by any single defender

B.He doesn’t have to be one of the greatest players of alltime and 2 time MVP to be a high quality player and in the nba .... nikkas need to calm down with the hyperbole or thinking that he has to be Curry’s clone or he’s a bust ..You would be hard pressed to name a perimeter player in this years draft more dangerous off the dribble than he ... I’ve never really heard this complaint about him having the inability to get by people tbh and we will see just how athletic he is once the combine starts ... also he’s taller than both Kemba Walker and Chris Paul ..both “all star” caliber players

C.He definately has his warts like mostly every player in any given draft ..we’ll see more of his measurables once the actual draft season starts ... but like I said before about him ... even if he “only” develops into a LouWill/JCrawford type of bench scorer ..that type of player has a lot of value in the league

Stop making excuses for the nikka. Steph faced even tougher defensive traps his last season and was shining. The comparisons were stupid from day 1 and exposed folks who never truly watched Curry in college.

That lil nikka is nowhere near Curry, and good luck to whoever drafts him cause him crying about teams trapping shows he's soft.
