But if you guys don't wanna admit the truth about being arguably the worst defender ever and the fact that over large sample sizes (aka his career to this point) he's an overall negative to his team by simply being on the floor, then i dunno, enjoy living in the moment I guess?

He'll likely never be anything special on defense which puts a cap on his overall impact, but he could still go down as a HOF caliber player (maybe even 1st ballot) due to his offensive skillset as both a deep range shooter and playmaker.

I would be more concerned with his defensive woes if he were a big or wing

The issue is though that I don't think you'll see stuff like this on a consistent basis, and I highly doubt he's able to improve his defense at all.
