nikkas said the same thing about Bron. I remember dudes hating on Bron hard as hell, saying he would be a bust, that he was overrated/hyped. That's the reason Bron got all these haters now. nikkas was mad that a high schooler was getting all that fame and praise and hated him from the beginning.

He's a slasher and can post up as well (plays PF in high school because of his size but will be a wing in the league). Very good ball handler and play maker. He's an ok shooter though and needs to work on that jump shot.

That don't matter. His skill set is that of a wing player. Dude was a point guard, he just hit a growth spurt. He's a slasher and play maker.

Players with that build like Mason and Draymond are still playmakers but they not wings. A lot of power forwards was PG's in high school before growth spurts like Griffin and Davis for example.

I've never seen a wing player with that body type

Footwork, handles, lateral quickness on defense, outside shooting is suspect for players with this body type and are the biggest knocks on Zion currently.

Eh, it's hard to say he hasn't progressed, he's gotten stronger and his skillset was already pretty strong for a 6'11" 16 year old.

The fact is that Bagley plays much better teams though, they've beaten Oak Hill when they were ranked 1, then La Lumiere when they were ranked 1 too. Sierra Canyon is now the 2nd ranked team in the country, and nobody has any clue how to defend Bagley.

Maybe hasn't progressed was strong but he was rated a top 5 hs prospect since his freshmen year and now he's not the #1 player in his own class in a few sites. He's got a great motor for a guy his size but doesn't really do anything great

Rankings are all politics (school interest, aau circuit). That's one thing I respect about the Ball brothers: they don't treat aau and camps as the end all be all.

I respect high school performances more than AAU, aau games are nothing more than rec ball and all star games these days. Zion is putting up stupid numbers with kids actually trying.

Aau games are basically all star games with little defense player but u do get to see the best competition play against each other and see how they fair
