Not to mention that Maison on that same tape was riding too.

And that mixtape came out at the end of 2013. Then How Can I Not and shyt led into the hype for Honest, which came out like 4-5 months later. Move That Dope piled on and then those horrible songs that he made for Ciara.

Honest came out in early 2014 and it didn't exactly bomb.

6 months later Monster came out and it was loaded with A+ tracks. The rest is history.

No single song turned the tide.

A video game did not change the trajectory of Future's career. Nevermind that UONEO, Karate Chop, Tap Out, and FBG The Movie came out that year.

Honest still came out in 2014 and that was the cap of that first Future run.

Everything after Honest was a grass roots campaign by Future to reinvent himself.

He even says "I'm treating this shyt like a demo" on Codeine Crazy. He was coming out new again.
