Did they publish the initial numbers? Because it's one thing if everybody started at 1,000,000, and they recorded those changes, but it's completely different if somebody like Jay Elec started with 1,000 Facebook likes where everybody else had 1,000,000+.

Even then, any number of factors could help influence changes in social media stats, with the Kendrick verse being just one (albeit possibly a major one) of them. It correlates, given the time frame, but it may not necessarily be the cause.

Chances are they just plugged in the before and after numbers in a Excel or any program that makes charts. Not really difficult to do and also, everybody is looking for some shine so they will use these graphs to direct traffic to their website.
