Ran into this mf from my past today while at the store. My son running around I grab him out of the way so people can pass by. Look at dude and we recognize each other and dude starts to say what's up. Now at first I place him differently and he kind of lets me and we do the what's been going on blah blah. Walking away I'm like wait, I don't know em from Uni but this past job I had in another city. Remember I leant this dude $60, more than 12 years ago and dude skipped out, left the job not long after. Remember him even answering my text/phone on some come find me :youngsabo:younger kid

So I look round the store for him (he himself had two kids with em) find em and I ask about some guys we worked with and tell em wait I was remembering things wrong before. Ask what happened with you dodging paying me back and dudes juelzing like he don't remember, why would I say wassup. He like you acting like I owe you a thousand and dude backing away at this point, his bytch steered the kids away. I'm like whats up with my fukking money, I don't care if it was 5 dollars I want it, course he didn't have it (I wanna see that wallet!) and other patrons start to recognize what's going
I tell em let's talk outside:jawalrus:

punk motherfukker basically running from me in the store saying stay away from me! :whoa: so I leave

20 mins pass I catch him outside leaving, course he looking around and sees me approaching with my son. He got his bytch and iirc 3 kids and his/her mother with him, pulling out his phone. Tell em relax I'll see him another time since he with his family, but didn't appreciate how he played me when I helped pay his truck note. Wasted words perhaps, but to let his fam know he ain't shyt. Meet my girl in the same plaza, she busy with a transaction, big surprise 5 min later shyt swarmed with cops :shaq2:

fukk sakes, maybe I should have listened to her telling me to let it go while I was waiting, but the disrespect back then made that shyt too good to pass up. Now when I'm in chandler I got to look around in hopes I get another opportunity

What would yal do? How petty is this shyt? Accepted my L long ago. Hell, chances are that may have been my last chance for recovery or a punch. Maybe shoulda hit in in the store when I saw it was a lost cause, but seems wrong in front of kids. But the way dude was brazenly responding to me back then, I know if I see him again I won't be able to let it go

Meh, clown away:Flabbymanny:

I would treat it like a charge off. After 7 years it ain't worth your time you spending more money than you are owed at that point with your time alone lol.
Yes, a sunk cost. That's the smart approach.
I guess I'm having trouble getting over the audacity of this little twerp, fresh wound seeing him again.
Thought had crossed my mind how ridiculous this would feel having to explain my side to some fukkin cop :francis: It's a big city, chances are i won'te see em again. Lotta mexicans out here, he definitely will see me first and duck most likely

Yep I'm usually generous with letting people I consider friends borrow money when they are in a jam and I'm far from well off. I usually don't even expect it back if i allow someone to borrow some tbh.

There was no point in approaching him if you weren’t ready to beat his ass then and there.

And to answer the question, never.
Yeah, I think that's why I was tight
:russ:
With my boy there I couldn't exactly make haste lol
But like breh said, for $60? If argue a punch justified but not no cuffs

He owed you $60 but it's been 12 years. Just let it go

Matthew 6:9-15 (KJV) After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
