how long can i go with weak brakes?

man, I replaced all four brake pads on my whip last night on my own. that shyt took like 3 hours. mainly cuz I had to use the shytty jack that comes in my trunk, and I had no stands or power tools. then the screws holding the calipers on were on there tight as hell. then when I finally finished, I was testing them around the block and the wheel lock was still on the wheel and fell off while driving. so I had to circle the block and alley til I found it lying in the grass

then I heard a weard grinding noise on one of my back wheels. turns out, I put one of the pads in backwards . it was like 1230 am at the time, and I was tired as hell. so I had to take that caliper apart and flip the pad over . after all that, it's been all good tho.

You should invest in a jack & some stands. Jacking up the car and taking off the wheels takes the most time, especially if you only have the regular jack. Next time it'll take you much less time though.

my grandad was a mechanic, and he died in 2005. but my pops still has the old house. he got a few jacks and my pops said I could get a hydraulic jack and stands cuz he got extra.

my brake light is on. And I gotta go deep in the brake pads ass to stop. How long can i keep doing this?

Depends on the root cause of the problem. If your pads are worn out, then you can keep on braking even to the pad backing. BUT, the pad backing is metal. That can stop your brakes on friction, but it rubs the rotors while not braking so you'll ruin your rotors and decrease your fuel efficiency because of the increased friction.
If you are pressing down to the floor because fluid is leaking, well, you can keep on topping off the brake fluid resevoir with more brake fluid. That's going to be okay, until the opening bursts wider. Then, you'll need to replace whatever is leaking: could be a brake line, brake caliper, master cylinder, wheel cylinder (for brake drums).
