I make just about 100k after and I live a very comfortable life.

1 million ain't much in North America however overseas you can live like a king as long as you have a plan and good business acumen. Problem is people who have bad habits take them internationally and run out of the money quick.

Is the money tax free?

Meaning I get to legally keep all one million Washingtons?


If so I could see myself easily squeezing a good 7-10 years out of it. Don’t buy anything crazy. Decent car. Decent crib. Vacation twice a year.

Really its about exercising financial discipline and not allowing yourself to splurge on craziness.
