I have a coworker who drives a tundra and his wife drives a hummer, both work about 45 miles from where they live, I can only imagine how much they spend on gas a month.

has nothing to do with balling out they both can afford it, he is retired military (so he has 2 incomes) and both their jobs pay over $60,000 a year, which is a nice paycheck for here in texas. Is house is already paid for.
