How long does it take for you to trust someone?

I trust people based on how they handle certain situations. If you just let a person talk and pay attention to their actions it's very easy to see what type of person they are.

There's levels to it, imo. Time and just being able to observe a person's general character. I let them in, seep slowly with filters. Start with a sieve, then a strainer, and so on and so forth til we're thick as thieves. Truthfully, I can't remember to this day how exactly I bonded with my best friends, can't recall a specific moment, you just have those feelings and when it's backed up by actions and honesty, it's great.

Also look at their relationships/how they treat people, or explain how things didn't work out with others. If they can't be real/accountable with themselves, I prolly won't trust ya/3stacks
