Somewhere tropic...
What's an example of a 80+ hr game? lol
Concise games like Uncharted, Spider-Man, God of War I;ll power through them in like 2 weeks, Work, gym, life and shyt considered. Trying to savor the experience too.
Open world games with 100's of collectibles and side mission can kiss my ass. Might take months.
I remember getting pissed off playing AC Origins like when will this shyt end? :snoop:

no joke, it took me 4 months to beat Witcher 3 :whew: same for Final Fantasy XV

I take my time, but I couldn't blow through these games if I tried. I can only play games for like 2 hours at a time max, then I go and do something else. I'm not bout that 6+ hour game session life :whoa: don't know how some gamers do that

I mean some dudes just got Death Stranding today and are already on chapter 3 :what:like do yall really play games or do you just skim through it:mindblown:
I never understood how people can game for only like 2-3 hours. If I have a free day the only thing I need a some weed, beer, and a controller...I can rock for 10+ hours easily

yo I hate when the reviewers or people be saying they ran through an open world game in like a week.. You couldnt have enjoyed that shyt, there is no way you wasnt burned out after marathoning a game like that for more than a weekend.. You arent cool, you need to get some family and friends, or a job, or some type of responsibilities.. I feel like when people brag about running through a games meant to take 20+ hours you have to let us know if you have a life or not first....

The problem is these games be having way tooo much dialog, like the latest DMC, i tried to get into, but there is way too much pointless dialog in the beginning.. I dont want to sit on the couch with a controller in mind hand, just watching 10-15 minutes of cutscenes.. video game dialog should be short and spread out throughout the game.

Took a year to beat Witcher 3 and Final Fantasy XIII and about 6-8 months for Final Fantasy XV. Thing is, after I get about 40 hours in, I usually end up taking like 3-6 month breaks. I also end up trying to do everything in the game before finishing it, in some games even replaying sections, so it'll take me forever to beat the long games.

yo, towards the end I was like will this shyt ever end, I remember telling them to shut up during the cutscenes after a while.. You talking about filler, smh

I got Witcher 3, metal gear solid 5, horizon dawn, Spiderman and read dead all on back log...:mjcry:

Last game I beat was that Batman joint in 2015

add to that, GOW, Uncharted still in the package, and borderlands 3, I be playing borderlands with some type of regularity for the last month and a half and its still not over.. how in the hell are people on play through 3 & 4?

Final fantasy X-3 was that for me, Xenoblade 3 took me a full year to beat after a 4 month lay off. I played Golden country for like 2 days and said I would get back to it, this was last november.. There are way too many games out to be able to lock in on these 30 hours games with 20 more hours of filler side stories, then followed by 10 hours DLC.

I cant do nothing for 10 hours straight, like do you not get calls, emails or have kids or anything? how do you have so much uninterupted free time?

I don't mean 10 hours with doing absolutely nothing in between. I get up, move around, may cook, take a phone call, may even bust out some work while gaming, etc, but for the bulk of the time I can be on the game. Been playing games like that since Gradius on NES when I was 2 years old (31 years ago). I can't even get warmed up on something competitive like FIFA or Rocket League in an hour or two.

Thinking about it, people binge watch entire seasons of shows in a weekend(I don't watch TV)so playing the game for 10 hours, give or take, really ain't that hard to fathom

If it's a game I love and waited years on I can play 10 hours in a day easy. Not straight though. For 95% of games that's not gonna happen.

oh so watching tv isnt an interest to you, that explains it, see I have shows I like to watch. So while I may be into a game I usually like to stop to eat and watch a show, and sometimes I may want to watch a second episode. I dont binge whole seasons, unless its a show thats only 30 minutes. but like power or GOT i cant watch more than 2-3 episodes at a time.

I wish I had that kind of free time, but I have too many other interest to spend that time on games only.

yea but for example, FF7 remake, we all been waiting like 50 years for that game, and I will be playing it (despite how I feel about the separate releases) but during those 50 years there are other games that came out and are continuing to come out that I like and want to play, I cant just stop those games cold turkey and jump on FF7 and then ignore all the games that come out in between.. shyt I want to jump into TOW but I also want to finish borderlands and finish a season of nba2k.

too many games and there are too many games I am interested in, to be running through TOW in 2 weeks

Edit

I have put in like 472365746356743654697493 hours on fallout 4, skyrim, the mass effect series but thats over the span of 7 year

think it took me month maybe more to finish RDR2. I took my sweet time and just went exploring in the late stages of the game.

Forever lol. I usually take breaks and I really can’t play more than 2-3 hours a day and that’s on a good day.

All of this ^^^^

I can't play more than 2 hours anything over that I have to worry about having red eyes. When I do play I try to play during the weekends. I done had God of War and RDR II in my library for over a year and barely played them.
