"Black Lives Matter" and people getting blue check marks for being overnight black activists, black feminists, black social commentators. I've said the same thing before about a lot of people only becoming "black" since Trayvon and Mike Brown.

That is why it is important for us to delineate ourselves. Blackness is not "we ain't monolithic".

I know most of these types aren’t prepared for a real analysis of the transatlantic slave trade, most dudes don’t know nearly as much as they pretend to, because you can’t understand the Transatlantic Slave Trade with without understanding Africa during that period. These guys have a cartoon understanding of history on here sometimes.

But for the ones with a twelfth grade reading level and some emotional maturity hopefully it’ll inspire somebody to read into the topic and learn something.

It’s not ironic, it was the reality of the slave trade. A lot same people getting sold as slaves were also selling slaves themselves.
