Okay.. you corny. Run along and show massa them pearly whites boy. Give him a little soft shoe and song and there might be some hog intestines and assorted scraps in it for you come sundown. :wow:
I’m corny to a broke nikka and you’re broke to everyone else we all have our struggles :wow:

If you didn't take such pride in being a broke back mule then you could actually work on cementing your future instead of ensuring your Ivory daddy's. Plus you could work on the whole cornball thing.

As a Black man.. a job? Nah I'm out of that game. One too many cacs tried to hate on me in the corporate world.

I 100% gve up on trying to have a job last year when I suddenly got let go at a company because basically I didn't fit in as a breh in charge.
They like the IDEA of diversity, but when a brother says "these are the areas where the team needs to improve" suddenly the mood changes.

I focused on turning my side hustle (Consulting) into my main hustle (2 new Clients signed so far in 2025).
I work for me now and -unless the money's ABSOLUTELY ridiculous- will never have a "job" again. Nothing against anybody with a job - but in my line of work (lleadership/management level) being Black in corproate..everything you do well, is seen as agression or a threat through 99% of white eyes

That is.. unless you want to tell a Cac "You know, between us, I voted for our Red Leader too" which I will never do. I'm doing this alone and it's working.

@RageKage please add an "I work for myself" option.

Respect :salute: on the real though do you make enough consulting to make ends meet?

I'm more public sector-ish myself but I've played around with the idea. My workplace isn't terrible but I'm not sure I want to be here for 20 more years.

My father is in a 1.2 million house off Military road in Northwest DC at 82 year olds and didn't have to suck white ass, balls and cock like you to get there.

Where's yours?

10 years. 7 in my department now which I currently run. 3 years in a different role prior to that. If I left I would likely make more, but you gotta find the right balance. Up against it with the current economic outlook. I got a fun conversation with my VP next month. As I talk about my wage and my staff. Cause I'm going to be pushing hard on this one. They've offloaded a ton to my department, and I need to bump my analyst up accordingly. And then it's my head on the block if shyt goes south, so I want my bump as well.
