Wouldn't happen if Israel had given them citizenship. Many Palestinians support Hamas because they willing to fight Israel while Palestinian Authority can't do anything while Israeli settlers keep taking Palestinian lands. If Israel give them back their lands and rights they'll eventually abandon Hamas.They aren't citizens of Israel and have their own elections.
