I've never had a paid job where my commute (each way) was longer than 15 minutes, my last 2 jobs it's 5 minutes each way, but when I was just out of college I had a internship and that commute was 1 hour each way, I was only there for 3 months but I always remember thinking there's no way I could do this on a daily basis day after day no matter the pay. That shyt is soul sucking. pause.

I'm willing to drive up to an 1.5-2 hours for good money. It would also have to be a later start. I'm not trying to be on the road at 4am.

I do contract work. For a permanent job, no more than an hour and that's generous.

I wouldn't do an hour plus commute in a car. I've been spoiled by using public transportation most of my life. I got coworkers who live in PA and commute into NY :picard:

I had one who lived in Delaware :hhh:

Her ass would be racing out the door trying to get that one Amtrak a day that stopped where she lived.

shyt if I get this new gig, 8 minutes will be my new cutoff:pachaha:my last gig had paid parking so I would walk a couple of miles after a 25 minute or so drive. My tolerance for that kinda crap has dwindled.

Anything over 20 mins. I make sure I’m in a biking distance of 20 mins wherever I work. I typically bike, use public transportation, or Uber. I don’t like to drive into work.
