The other team didn't out him but he outted himself. Does that mean he didn't also break the rules?? Plus the colts player who allegedly did that has come out and said he never told the refs the ball felt weird. That was a lie http://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...noticed-nothing-wrong-with-football/22179117/

He didn't say he would go let the refs check the footballs then take the footballs back to the locker room to inflate them then bring them back out.

Every team is allowed to bring their own footballs. Rodgers was over-inflate the balls before they have to get checked in so that way the football goes from a PSI of 16, 15, or 14 to about 13 maybe 12. Rodgers prefers the balls to be over the max limit so when the PSI levels are adjusted by the refs they can still get a full size football to play with.

This isn't the same as deflating BELOW the minimum level AFTER the refs have checked the balls in. This is what Brady had the locker assistant(s) do.

Look...by no means am I a fan of the Patriots or Tom Brady. However, absent DEFINITIVE proof that Brady knew FOR SURE that those balls were deflated - and not "more probable than not that he was at least generally aware", as the Wells Report notes - you can't suspend him off what basically amounts to circumstantial evidence. That's how it works, sorry.

More specifically, if it was THAT advantageous then why were his numbers better AFTER the refs inspected the balls at the half?

I just think people saying "he should be banned for a year!" are only saying it cause they hate Brady, not because of any evidentiary allusions of guilt. Cause there ain't none. AND.....if there WAS evidence of guilt that Wells Report would have cited it as a determining factor.

They gon' suspend fool for about 4 games, that's it. IF that.

And I can't stand Brady, but people need to stop the madness already.

All we have proof of Tom doing is exactly what Rodgers says he does only inversely. Like Aaron tells his ball boys to put more air in the balls, Toms tell his ball boys to take the air out. The situation you are describing where the ball boy does so after the refs have checked it has not been proven to be an specific order from Tom. With the evidence we have you cant prove he did anything more than what Rodgers does. All the messages suggest Tom did tell the ball boys how he likes his footballs with less air but none of the messages ( unless I missed one) suggests that he told them to do so AFTER the ref check.

This is about the league trying to right the wrongs/mistakes it made during other fiascos, such as Ray Rice and Greg Hardy. And so from a PR perspective, they NEED to take draft picks from the Patriots for, like, the next five years. That would REALLY be a good way to make an example outta them for being habitual line-steppers, lol. It would also ONLY be done to "cement" the NFL's dying credibility when it comes to discipline.

And let's be real....ere'body cheats. The Patriots are just either (a) under greater scrutiny than most, because of their past, and so when they do it things are highly magnified, or (b) they're just dumb and sloppy as all hell and thus always gettin caught.

The Wells report found that Jim McNally, and John Jastremski, “participated in a deliberate effort to release air from Patriots game balls after the balls were examined by the referee.

The text messages sent throughout the season show at least SOME GUY NAMED TOM THAT THROWS THE FOOTBALL AND PLAYS FOR THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS hammering McNally for not making sure the ball sizes were the size he preferred before game day.

My argument is A-rod never said he adjusted the PSI sizes of the football after the refs checked to make sure they were at the regulated standard game size. This is what Pat fans keep bringing up to bring Rodgers down with them.

Four games, a fine and he can't attend the ceremony during the first game of the season. Bellibytch should get the year suspension just like SP from the Saints got and they should forfeit draft picks.

Even with Jimmy Garappolo at the helm, You STILL gonna get that ass Whooped on opening day. :russ:
