For best results, rest as little as possible without the need to cheat near the end of your set...

So there is no official time. You're only holding yourself back if you have a set time.

depends on the person. general rule of thumb is 60-120 seconds. depends on a lot of factors though. just keep lifting weights and develop a time frame thats comfortable for you.

Man this advice is all over the place

Personally I think hard and fast rules are OK

I put it like this... 8-12 reps, 2 minutes for compounds, 1-2 minutes for isos
4-7 reps, 3-5 minutes for compounds... and there is no point in this rep range for isos

1-3 mins for me, but listen don't trip on it just get enough to allow you to keep lifiting

As long as it takes for my homie to finish his set. Sometimes cats start talking to stall but im like, talk while i lift bruh.

after i realized the "metabolism" aspect of lifting is overblown i stopped rushing unless it calls for it(speed sets)

5-6minutes are for extremely heavy weight over low sets(80-90% of your 1rep max)

they require much more total exertion than other rep ranges imo

High rep low weight 30seconds to 45 seconds (me personally 15 seconds)

depends on the workout. i do the Crazy 8s and my rest is in 8 second intervals. so it will go like this: 56, 48, 40, 32, 24, 16, and 8.
