How long to hear back after interview?

So i had a interview exactly two weeks ago, they said they’d give me a call back as soon they interviewed two other candidates later that week.

I sent a email last Wednesday no response(maybe due to vacay for the 4th). Tho when I go into they HR website my application says still under consideration vs past positions I’ve interviewed for say not selected.

I don’t know if I’m trippin or to just be cool. Really want the job and the pay/benefits is good

Just keep applying for other jobs. You are always hunting for a new job UNTIL SOMEONE HIRES YOU.

Good luck,OP! I’m sure you’ve secured the bag.. just be patient. For my current position.. I waited a whole month from interview to offer. Fairly common.

Contacting HR offices are a complete waste of time usually

Depends on how many candidates they have. I've heard back after a month. I've been hired the same day. Don't stop what you're doing while waiting for a response. Keep applying and interviewing.

Eh I’d beg to differ

They showed me around the Facilities, met multiple people, even showed me the employee rec room AFTER the interview.

Small talked with the panel too. Lady who did most of the questions was black, thinking bout calling her later today to

You never know, sometimes like 8 months later I got a call back if I’m still interested. Job I’m at now a week later I got it . I’ve also had jobs where I had like 3 interviews and didn’t get it

If you gotta ask that question then its time to move on. Just fill out a gang of applications online & email resumes. Play the numbers game.

It depends on how much they really need new workers and also like others said it can weeks, months even a year..

Basically it's more to do with how bad they really need new workers because sometimes they'll take applications, do interviews & pick the best candidates even if they've changed their mind on hiring at the moment.

In the meantime they'll save the best candidates info & when they're in need they'll call (or email) you back in the future to hopefully find out if you're still interested in the position.


Or unfortunately maybe you just didn't get the job.
