How long to hear back after interview?

A. Didnt sell them enough to make them stop looking

OR

B. They filled the position internally but had to post the job as a legal formality.

OR

C. Whoever is in charge of hiring is simply lazy as fukk.

Either way, I wouldn't hold my breath.

It's better than sending an email though. Emails are easier to ignore. If they're cock blocking you over the phone though, then it's a pretty clear sign that you need to move on. And in today's world everyone sends an email. So if you call you'll stand out a bit more.

If its been two weeks I'd recommend you keep looking for other jobs. If you aren't chosen you may only get a response via an automated email telling you that you didn't make it. Even if you call they may just say they haven't decided yet. One thing for sure if they want you , you will know. Never stop applying elsewhere till you get a contract in your hand.

So i had a interview exactly two weeks ago, they said they’d give me a call back as soon they interviewed two other candidates later that week.

I sent a email last Wednesday no response(maybe due to vacay for the 4th). Tho when I go into they HR website my application says still under consideration vs past positions I’ve interviewed for say not selected.

I don’t know if I’m trippin or to just be cool. Really want the job and the pay/benefits is good

Just follow up with them. Two weeks is usually the max I'll wait before enacting operation bothersome. Did you send thank you notes afterwards? This is imperative! Nobody really does it anymore, it will set you apart. You can even have some prepared right after the interview to hand to the secretary. This is also a good way to get direct phone numbers to play the harassment game as I like to call it. I would call a few times, then send an email if you get no response. I've heard they appreciate the follow up, it shows you're passionate/interested in the company. Who knows though, either they'll hire you or not lol. But when searching I'm constantly filling out apps. At LEAST 3-4 a day. Also, something small and possibly unnecessary, I got some really nice resume paper. It's like a celery color. Don't get something cream, or gray. Maybe like a salmon or something. It sticks out in the piles. I've had the pack for years and EVERY SINGLE interviewer has mentioned how they like my paper.

I just got a job after doing all the above in the span of about a month and a half (from application-interview-offer). It only amounted to three interviews and a P, but I already accepted one offer. Still going to go on another and see what they're talking about though (I already bought the plane ticket ).

I've had jobs call me back before i even made it home from the interview.
But i've had a job call me back a couple months later after i had already started working somewhere else.
There is no clear time frame.
