How long until another black man takes over the MLB?

Every era after black people were allowed to play had one.

Except this one, there is no clear cut black superstar in the MLB who makes people other than middle class white men want to watch. In a time where their ratings are reaching a all time low and no young people are watching they need one.

We got guys like McCutchen but he's not even a big star. You can't say he's the best player in the league, but, from all the old heads I've been around, there was no arguing against other black players in the past cause they had seasons as the best player on earth.

I mean, there is no black player you can say in the best player in the league and even the old white guys got to be like cause its without a doubt true.


I'm tired of hearing about Trout, Posey and Stanton all the damn time honestly.

A lot of dynamics at play. Today's cats see basketball and football as the way out. Baseball just doesn't captivate kids today like it used to. I loved baseball growing up and the projects I grew up in even had a baseball field. But trying to get 18 n1ggas (with equipment) all together to play a game? It's just not conducive. Especially when I just need to take my rock to the court, start shooting around, then another cat shows up, then another, next thing you know, we got a three on three or eventually enough for a full. Plus, in my opinion, today's generation is not equipped to follow baseball... Today's society is based on getting things done quickly, and having constant action. Baseball's pace keeps you like
But that baseball paper tho.... I would steer my son towards being a left handed pitcher (them n1ggas is ALWAYS eating) or a switch hitting outfielder.

Idk but I went to middle school with a dude that played baseball, basketball, and football. He was a BEAST in baseball, really good in basketball, and good in football.

Guess what...the dude now is in the NFL playing for the Cowboys. When he got to high school after 10th grade just started focusing on football. I don't know why but honestly high schools and just off of popularity push athletic dudes like that into football.

Baseball isn't popular and basketball you REALLY need to be on that shyt. It's easier to get a football scholarship than basketball only 15 nikkas a bball team so unless you really skilled at bball a lot of dudes I knew just pursued football.

I personally think he should have stayed with baseball. He's a linebacker for the Cowboys but obviously he gained a lot of weight since high school to college and now the NFL to play linebacker. But in high school he had a fit/trim body perfect for baseball he's about 6'2. I just feel like the baseball "skills" this dude had at the age of 12 if he continued past 10th grade I think he could have done damage. Dude used to whoop all them cacs ass when playing baseball he always clearly above them other dudes athletically and skill wise. Other schools would be shocked cause they weren't used to seeing a black boy that athletic AND skilled playing baseball.

she can't compete with her male counterparts playing high school baseball, simply because the boys are gonna to be much more physically superior to her... and it's 14.5 feet farther away for her to pitch from... her fastball might be the equivalent of a 93 MPH pitch at regulation, but there are plenty of kids in HS who actually throw that.
