find one thing i said that's even in the realm of hating... it's reality.

don't be a fakkit just because some of us understand that she's almost guaranteed to not excel at baseball past little league due to genetics, level of competition and field dimensions.

Man I feel you, that's why I really don't like all the hype she's getting.

One because she's still this young and two, because there's absolutely no way she'll be able to compete with the boys past 9th MAYBE 10th grade.

Its just dumb to even bring up her future with baseball like I'm that, I'm sure even she knows at one point it will end

As people have mentioned, Byron Buxton is supposed to be the next big thing for the Twins. In the past few years there has been a handful of black players taken in the top ten of the MLB draft. Hopefully some of them develop into stars to give baseball a bit more flavor.

And???

None of them have had any time as the undeniable best player in the league.

That's what I'm talking about, there were black players in the past who had years where you pretty much couldn't deny they were the best player in the league.

Even if you didn't live in those times, like me, their greatness is still talked about. Years and years from now Griffey Jr and Bonds will still be talked about.

How many of today's black players gonna get that kind of legacy?

We will see...that's the point. Most of those players are still young, and still in the convo for such status.

You talkin' like it could never happen...
