Arguably yes, but part of that was due to necessity. He had no one else on that team capable of scoring 20 points regularly at that point so he had to max out. His efficiency suffered because of it. Curry on the other hand had tons of help and didn't have to do as much.

There's no such thing as "only" 4-5 years thats a long time historically speaking. And Kobe was never clear cut the best player in any one particular season he just had the title.

He was the best player throughout the 2013-2014 season and won the MVP. Just because it doesn't fit people's agenda doesn't mean it didn't happen

at this revisionist history of Bron being the best player in the game in 2009 & 2010 when he was the most clowned on player in the league. Bron got the MVP's, but after the finals, nobody had Bron>Kobe, especially on
2011 he was overall the best player, but after his 2011 finals performance, it was Dirk's seaaon. But, from 2011-2012 to 2014-2015, he was easily ahead of everyone else. Can make the case for Curry last year, but Bron had to do more for his team than Curry.
Kobe been on the decline SINCE AT THE LATEST 2010. How can you say bron didn't eclipse him at that point???
