While watching the Rumble and hearing the reception for Seth it got me thinking how the last several years the 3 have dominated the scene. Every generation has had 1 or 2 big name stars: Hogan (and maybe even Macho Man), Bret/Shawn, Austin/Rock, Cena. Now it’s the SHIELD. How much longer will they last on top? 5 years? 7?

I only see the upside since it looks like Roman is going to Hollywood soon. Prob another 7 like you said.

Roman is already transitioning to a part-time performer. He could probably keep doing what he's doing for another 5-10 years.
Rollins will go as long as his body will allow him. I don't see him retiring until he gets hurt to the point of not performing anymore.
Moxley is going to be one of those guys who never retires like Terry Funk :pachaha:

It sucks that Seth failed at being the guy. They had that guy go over Brock at Brocks HEIGHT, and he wasn’t able to keep fans into him. shyt really fell flat

I feel like this version of him is the most polished and over with fans he’s ever been, but I can’t ever see dude getting another shot ar being thee guy.

He’ll get runs for sure, but as far as the entire company being put on your back and every expense being exhausted in making you, it’s pretty obvious they picked cody to fill those shoes

It’s a good choice though. Seth is kind of a mark and guys like that don’t represent the company well on global stages. Cody has all of the tangibles needed to promote WWE to a mainstream audience

Kind of an insult to Roman to throw Seth in there. Roman's been running shyt and designated as the guy while Seth is doing his young bucks post fusion dance reddit joker garbage.

Roman at the top of WWE, Moxley at the top of AEW, and then Seth wearing zany clothes and being wacky. What a fukking bum.

Yeah, I feel you on that.

Cody is definitely the type that wants to play the game. All that hug the kids, show up on late night tv shows smiling and praising the company, guest hosting wheel of fortune type shyt that Roman isn’t charismatic enough to do. The Cena role. Cody built for that fake shyt. I get the feeling Seth wouldn’t really be into being that person.

As much as they want Roman to be that, he isn’t. Him being on Fallon really exposed how uncomfortably dull and uncharming he is in those moments. He’s better suited being a special attraction, final boss type like Lesnar. Let Cody go kiss the babies and smile with the other whites

Everybody can't be charming even top guys.

Never thought I would see Mox being a top guy anywhere over Seth and truth be told after catching up I could have swore Seth would be the face of the company

Sheild might be the GOAT group... I'd argue this point vs any group in history
The presence of Seth automatically invalidates that claim. But for shyts and giggles what's the argument the Shield is better than NWO, Evolution, or the Four Horsemen?

Mox probably retire within another 5 years and Roman probably going to Hollywood. Seth gonna be around for a long time tho.

How does the presence of Seth invalidate that? He's a good wrestler and has a good character. He's finally hit his stride because this annoying dikk head persona seems like its him in real life and....oooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooOOOOOOOO :blessed: don't disrespect the gawd

NWO was revolutionary but at a certain point the actual group became trash. The Sheild never added new members much less 100 of them... and Hogan was stinking it up all up in the videos...the lows balance out the highs.

As for the four horsemen... once again they never had to add new members to stay fresh. And everyone in the sheild went on to become a star... four horsemen were a bunch of lackeys to Rick flair.

Evolution created stars but was a horsemen rip off and trips was wilding with the reign of terror... also when Evolution came back to face the sheild we saw what was up.

SHEILD had no defacto leader therefore there were no lackeys. All of the members were equal even when Ambrose was singles champ and Reigns and Rollins was tag. Dirty Dean never came off as the big cheese.

Every member has also been World champion. Evolution did that too but Sheild is way better
