Big article but good read. Yeah, they weren't doing much of note at the time, but it's the way it died that hurts the most. I mean the stuff they were working on sounded interesting (1313). But the fact that Lucas kept changing it and the horrible management which kept them from making great games. Projects would get cancelled when they were practically done because they wouldn't make any money. That's when you knew that it was over.

EDIT - It should also be of note that in the comments section, some of the LucasArts developers replied and told their personal horror stories. A bunch of people apparently would get laid off after telling Lucas "No."
