Legendary..
That album was Pac at this best. Still on the pro black tip. Didn't go nuts yet but was still thug lifeCool, yeah heard a lot of people say Me Against The World.
Yea the feel of that 2nd disc was almost like one of those Makaveli bootlegs tapesI acknowledge it as a classic too. I love the celebratory feel of the fact that he just got out of prison and I like the diversity of songs. My only problem with AEOM is the filler and that the quality starts going down by the second disc.
agreed.3
MATW
AEOM
Makaveli
All 3 are flawed - but pretty unassailable as classics at this point.
Big had 2 albums. Pac had like 6. 7 Day theory was his last album all that other stuff was stuff he didn't put together.Pac is definitely one of those dudes that wasn't appreciated as much before he died. Either you loved him or hated him. Unlike Big where there was a universal love for. But now after looking back Pac was the better artist

Im strictly referring to the music that came out before he died. Pacs music had much more of a lasting impactBig had 2 albums. Pac had like 6. 7 Day theory was his last album all that other stuff was stuff he didn't put together.
3 solo classics, 1 group classic
All Eyez On Me is/was my favorite. Back in '96 I liked every song minus "Whatz Ya Phone #" but even that has grown on me now.
That's just the way it seemed growing up where I did. Everybody loved Big but were very divided on Pac. Once Pac died everybody was on his nutsReally? I thought it was often 1 side or the other in many cases. Was told Pac had more universal love, which would make sense with the record sales, I remember Kool Moe Dee said Pac was the first West Coast artist LOVED on both coasts. Even when I was growing up, a lot of people I know didn't like Biggie, were like fukk Biggie, cause of the Pac thing, I always thought that was stupid and loved both but still..
Oh cool, not completely alone then lol. I love Whatz Ya Phone, I have never understood the hate for that track, I have honestly ONLY ever heard people online say they don't like it, before I viewed forums I had no idea some people didn't like that track. Everyone I knew in real life loved it and the whole album.
