None for me

To me a classic song has to reach pass your fan base. I just don’t think people outside his fan base care really. His songs get played for sure, but it ain’t a universal song from him that people recite

And this is something rosenbergs don't understand (although I think some of them know but don't wanna admit it). You have to make undeniable records to be considered great. Drake has undeniable songs. Rocky has undeniable songs. And I'm not saying undeniable as in "mainstream has to embrace it." That's not undeniable. I'm talking about hip hop fanatics. People who really love this culture and listen to a huge variety of what rap has to offer.

I'm not a Dre fan like that, but he's produced some fantastic records. Undeniable. I could care less about Kurupt but "We Can Freak It" is fukking undeniable.

Back then, you HAD to have at least one undeniable record. I thought Paul Wall was corny but "Sittin Sidewayz" is undeniable. These new weirdos are talking about they're goats but have zero classic songs.

And that's how we know their buzz is phony as fukk. Back then, it was impossible to be considered 'the man' and have zero undeniable records. You couldn't even enter the game without an undeniable song. There's not a single major rapper in the 90s that I don't love at least one of their songs, no matter how mediocre/not my cup of tea they were. You can say what you want about Master P but Bout It Bout It is fukking classic.

I remember thinking Cash Money were fukkin trash back then (and I still think they're trash overall), but when they dropped "Bling Bling", I knew that shyt was fire. It's still fire. Juvie had stuff that was fire. it didn't matter if you were a big Juvie or not. This is later in his career, but when "Slow Motion" came out, that shyt was undeniable.

So this idea that you can be the front-runner rapper of an entire era AND one of the goats of any era without having a single classic song is just :laff:

They dont have any classics yet tbh

Studio, Alright and bytch Dont Kill My Vibe are the only ones close

Studio in particular could've been a classic but was ruined by Schoolboy Q's woat vocals. Have you heard the instrumental? Good chorus too. All things considered, the shyt is a missed layup :laff:

That's really how you know a dude is trash. Open layup and he misses :russ:

SZA has A LOT of them.

Lets keep it a buck.

She's about to keep those lights on for a minute.

SZA is a flavor of the moment. Her success is largely a fluke.

Let's say if anyone's playing her shyt in 3 years. To be fair, I'm not an RnB dude and RnB plays by different rules. The only song of hers I can say I'd listen to is "Prom".

Nah man...women's songs last a little longer if you wanna be SUPER honest.

SZA captured a generation low-key.

She's gonna be here for a minute.

Her shyt is infectious.

That sounds cute but what songs exactly are undeniable by her? Songs that you see lasting outside of the TDE spin cycle?

Just because you capture the tween to 24 year old audience doesn't mean you're gonna be around. is SZA even bigger than Solange?

Again, I'm just trying to understand this shyt. I'm from the era of undeniable records. I was never into Beyonce but she has undeniable records. Mary J Blige is also not my cup of tea overall but she has undeniable records. In fact, one of my favorite RnB songs ever is by Mary J Blige. That's what I'm talking about. You're so good an artist that your song can capture someone who isn't typically your fanbase and he/she loves the song. Not "oh this song is cool for now. let me mindlessly turn up." I mean, 'wow, this is incredible."
