How many different passwords do you have to remember?

Between work and personal accounts I have about 15 unique passwords I keep locked in my head...

The others are just variations of a single password that I use for other random accounts on the internet.. forums, online shopping etc.

Amazon
Bank
Gmail
Work x9 (Multiple domains/accounts, different credentials)
Playstation
Computer

All uniquely different passwords.

I usually tie them to a few lines of a verse in song that's somewhat related to the account with some special characters and numbers thrown in.

So I'll have a password like 0n!wc1wd44

Which would translate to: Oh no, look who crept in with da fo fo.

Probably have more, but they're stored deep in memory until I need to login to an account I don't use often.

I have an encrypted file with 137 lines of user names, passwords, code words, and pin numbers.

Some of them are redundant, like online shops have similar passwords but with a number or phrase added, so their not all the same.

The very important passwords are at least 10 characters long that were random generated and modified just like my shopping passwords.

I also keep two usb sticks containing this file and an inconspicuous note on my phone for when I go to the bank and for some reason forget some info.

Make a lastpass account, generate your passwords, and get the password to your lastpass tattooed on you.

I use lastpass with all my passwords with the chrome extension and app on my phone. And even to get in my lastpass, I have to use the Google Authenticator app as my phone for the key. I only keep the ones I need that are important like bank, credit cards, savings account, etc. in a back up file.
