I would say there's five I speak to most regularly. None of them even live in the same country as I do.
im still friends with most of the people i met in my 20s... we have all drifted apart kind of, and a lot of people moved away. but we still facebook/instagram all the time.

This is interesting. Not counting family, I have 8 friends that I'm in regular contact with. Some everyday, some every week. But we talk frequently.
Then a few others that we don't speak that often, but are lifelong family friends.

People I can talk with and possibly lend or receive aid from but I see them whenever and don't really keep in constant contact, but the love is always there when we do link up.
A healthy amount of associates. Upwards of 30 folk or more
People I'm cool with, but wouldn't go out of my way to help if it required me using resources, but we know each other by name and have been out on dates/parties/outings before.
