Why even bother getting married if you don't plan to have kids

I don't want nor need a housewife. I don't mind having a wife that is retired, but until she reaches that stage in her life, I want a working wife to help out with the expenses.

I also want a wife who brings something tangible to the table and have shyt to lose that way she will be more willing to make the marriage work.

SAH wife makes more sense for people who are young adults versus someone who is middle aged, divorced and/or widowed IMO..

But, for those who want that traditional life, just know, understand and accept what you are signing up for...

For better or worse, through sickness and health and all that other shyt it says in wedding vows...

I just don't wanna have to work myself to dealrh in order to fulfill a certain lifestyle that I am not guaranteed to maintain for a significant portion of my marriage/life.

I don't want a housewife.

For one, I'd have to make an absurd amount of $ -- i.e. much more than I think I actually need to cover every bill comfortably. As of TODAY, my career path doesn't put me on that track. It puts me on track to live comfortably, but not lavishly.

Two, she'd get bored. My girl is accustomed to being busy and would go batshyt if she was a stay-at-home wife/partner.

Ideally... if I was clearing that kind of bank, it's up to her how she spends her time. But we don't live in an idealistic world.

Realistically, I'd rather seek and build toward a partnership to where both sides make enough to temporarily carry the ship in the event one side is down bad/has to transition jobs. The economy demands a dual-income home.

That’s strange because women typically want to be taken/claimed even if they’re in career mode as long as you don’t disturb their career/drive. Even the FWB ones get attached after a while if it’s a continuous thing.

What's the easiest way for a career woman to get a raise? Promotion? Attention from the people who really run the company she works for?

What do y'all think happens when they go out of town for a business conference at a venue like the orange county convention center? I learned early, find a way to get a pass into the convention afterparties at the right show and married woman with careers will throw it at you. 25 yr old newlywed women throwing down with 50 yr old men in suits like it's nothing.

Be careful what u wish for. My advice is go after the girl and build a relationship based on love and companionship. Take it from there. Think that "business minded" lady is your girl if u want

What do you think happens if she stays home and the pool boy or landscape guy is around?

I don't want my lady cheating but I would rather her use that p*ssy to bring income in to the household vs giving it to some lower wage nikkas I'm paying out my pocket
