Was gonna add a voting poll but i just wanted to hear from everyone in here how do we view men who back down from fights.

Done so plenty of times and still living with no shame in backing down. I dont get grown ass people who feel they always have to throw hands and dont know how to talk out disagreements or even walk out/cool off, control emotions and shyt. Never got why people run to see fights too. Thats how bystanders get shot. Hell, physical fights youre more likely to get shot or stabbed anyway because many people dont know how to scrap anyway so...

One time when when I was like 11-12 and my cousin was fighting two dudes and my older cousin made me go down the street and help. I didn’t want to help at first.

It was some dude named Buster when I was like 13. Dude was like 18 and be hanging with all the younger kids and was a bully. He low key punked me and 2 of my other homeboys when we was all walking one day. But that shyt was bothering me so much I picked up a glass bottle and hit him in the head with it and we all ran. He never fukked with us again though and stopped trying to hang out.

One time when me and my homeboy got into a heated argument and he was like we can step outside and I just kept arguing. I just ain’t wanna fight that nikka that day :yeshrug:

When I was in work release and me and my partna got into it over a spades game :snoop: But both of us was woofing and not really trying to do shyt cause that’s how it go most times in work release. Ain’t nobody trying to get sent back up the road so it be more talking than fighting.

When I first moved to downtown Atlanta. I got into it with a GD and was like nikkas fukk you and the GDs and he was like bet. So I was taking different routes avoiding the Lil 5 points area where they be hanging at for a while :pachaha:

When this shorty I was messing with sent me a pic of the message she sent her people talking bout they got my address and I was like tell them fukk nikka to pull up bytch, I’ll be outside all day. But then I went to kick it at my homeboy spot for the rest of the day :mjlol:

Backing down is different from leaving an area where someone is going to fight or pick a fight. And I have back down and deescalated fights when someone wanted to fight. In my younger days I fought and won about 6 times. After College I actively avoid fights. I’m not a knucklehead I’m a 6 figure Coli breh.

I went to a majority white middle school for a couple of years and got into an argument with one of the only other Black dudes there. He wanted to fight and was super aggressive about it. I only backed down because I didn’t want to be fighting the only other brother in front of a bunch of CACs.

End up having to throw hands with him anyway later in the semester because he would never let the shyt go.
