15 is about right. Maybe 20-25 if my favorite actors is in it. I thought Roman J Israel, Esq was gonna be a bore but I kept watching cause of Denzel. Ended up being one of my favorite Denzel flicks.

30 mins for a movie... Always felt that was fair.

Tv Show... 20 mins

Why do you give more time for movies than TV shows. aren't tv series more likely to have slower pace
since they have more episodes to give depth to a storyline

I feel you on that. sometimes you misjudge a movie.
I remember watching a korean movie, A taxi driver, that started off goofy as fukk and I was tempted to
stop watching then about 25 mins in, it went
supernova:ohhh::wow:.

Well cuz if the TV show ends up being good, you'll know by the second season anyways when everyone's raving about it. Movies are a one shot deal and I've been wrong about some movies that took longer to get good.

If the pilot doesn't hook me, I'm over it. But sometimes it does take shows longer to build those arcs. Movies, if it ain't hitting in the first 5 minutes, it's a wrap. Unless it's just background noise :shaq:

Depends if i make it through the show, might fall asleep anyway without realizing it. I dont mean for it to happen but in certain cases, i didnt mind like transformers or give him to the greek. I fell asleep in the theater to those movies. No lie. I fell asleep in the middle of transformers when they were giving the history in the middle of the movie. That shyt was BORING. My eyelids got heavy and then i woke up to the last fighting scene. :yeshrug: i was more disappointed that i wasted money over that wack ass movie

Breh, i gave Dune a whole 45min before i had to call it. Pacing was garbage, but the hype to the movie made me want to keep going longer. I kept holding out for proper chemistry between cast or a real action scene but nothing came. Real simple sht like the "hand in the box/book scene" could have been done with more action or cast emotion, but nah.

For a non-hype movie probably 20min the i'll bounce.:whoa:

I tend to finish 85% of whatever i choose to watch.. i'll just put it in the background while I do something else if it's not interesting.
