These are Saquon's current stats and accomplishments. In 7 seasons, he's rushed for 1000+ yards 4 times. He recently turned 28 and it's worth noting his injury history.
How many more seasons of elite production does Saquon need to be a HOF? 4 more years? 5 more years? or is the HOF out of reach for him in your eyes?
He's not being considered seriously until he can crack 10,000 yards.
Another SB with a really dominant Terrell Davis playoff run might allow him to get in the HOF even without reaching 10k yards.
48 TD's seems a bit low. Think he needs to get in the 60 to 70 range at a minimum. Playing with Tush-Push Hurts™, is going to reduce his redzone chances....same way Aikman had far fewer TD's because Emmitt was so automatic inside the 20.
The Terrell Davis argument is tricky. The Eagles won a SB with Nick Foles in '17 and Hurts damn near dragged them to a win two years ago WITHOUT Saquon. Davis gets credit because Elway played in 3 SB's before TD was even in high school. He was clearly the difference maker and put up bonkers numbers.
None of the pre-TD Broncos SB runs with Elway were as close to winning as Hurts was against KC in '22. Saquon can get there....but right now, he's basically Zeke with a ring.
