My prof told the class stories about how he got rich in the years following up to Y2K as a consultant selling bullshyt to companies in the tech sector

I ain't gonna lie and say that I didn't come home with a bag of ice for the deep freeze and made a whole squadron of sandwiches using the toaster and sat about Drinking beer out an ice box and playing Tony Hawk until the countdown hoping them fireworks weren't missile strikes.
But I never bought into the hype with running out and doing anything super extra like buying "y2k" compliant shyt or full on believing I was gonna die so I threw all my earthly possessions in the sea like some folk were prone to doing.​

As a youngster I remember the Hebrews in Hyde Park telling everyone that the most high yahaweh was going to hit the earth with thermonuclear bombs kill everyone but the Israelites and enslave all the remaining whyte folks lol

The moors were telling everyone that the computers would shut down so everyone with money in the bank would lose their money

The Muslims would just say "you only got a little time left"

And the RBG was taking people out into the woods and teaching them survival lol
