In high school I saw an attempted rape behind the fence of my parent house. My mom ran up to me and gave me a kitchen knife and broom and told me to go help her but when I was about, the girl started to karate kick the rapist and then start beat the living shyt of him. We saw for 10 minutes one epic ass whooping and the dude was laid out in the corner store bleeding and barely moving. We didn't call the cops because we felt no pity for him.

Actually I've seen plenty of hood stuff go down, I guess to me that was normal back in the days.

Grew up in carver projects east harlem. Now a little further uptown, It's hood but it's nothing like it used to be. My moms is so mad she didn't cop any real estate down there because that neighborhood is so fukking dope right now. good mix of ppl, got all the cac amenities but still hasn't lost it's soul, close to central park & the upper eastside :whoo:I can see where I'm at now turning the same way eventually, I plan on moving into one of my moms apartments after college and raising my kids here.

West harlem/Hamilton Heights section. shyt is getting gentrified now but during the crack era shyt was wild. I saw a stabbing when I was 7. Used to watch dope fiends fukk outside my back window. Got dragged into buildings more than once by my pops after shots were fired. The only time I ever saw white people were high in my building. Couldn't get into my building once when we came home from vacation because police had it locked down while they removed a beheaded body from our roof.

Then in 96 every single hustler on my block got arrested in a big fbi dea sweep. Didn't see any of them til 2010 when 1 came home. The rest are either still locked up or deported to dr or colombia.

We got white folks now so we good :whew: God bless Gentrification :troll:

grew up in a very middle class suburb. no one is close to rich but no one is struggling rly. still here atm. it looks beautiful outside theres pretty trees an everyone has gardens. thats also because its north carolina. childhood was great, my best friend is across the street we would run around the neighborhood all the time. u get all this support an shyt for everything, like if your struggling in school you can get a tutor, or if you have the flu u can go to the doctor. we dont rly have to worry bout medical bills.

dont get me wrong im not spoiled. everything i own i bought, tv, computer, ps4, my maschine was a graduation gift.....but atleast i got it for a reason. an i did get whippings so thats not a hood thing

Grew up in Brooklyn in the 90's (all my decep nikkas stand up :brehwow:smile:, had about 100 nikkas surround our building trying to kill us over some beef one of my brothers started. And I'm not even exaggerating. It was literally 100 of them nikkas. My moms called the police and told em and they was like :childplease:

I looked out the window and seem them goons out there with bats, chains, knives, and broom handles :damn:

Moms shipped my bros out the country and sent me and my other bro down south. Real talk I should have been dead god knows how many times. Never thought I'd make it to 25, but I'm 32 with a mortgage, a puppy, and a fukked up hairline.

White Jesus been good to me :mjcry: :to:

The suburbs
I spent half of my life in cali.
I lived in east lbc, altadena n pasadena.

Pasadena and altadena wasnt really too bad. They had a few ghetto areas but it wasnt really dangerous.

Long beach was different. I remember one of my neighbors, was like 13, 14 at da time. He got into an argument with some longos on his way home from school.
A few days later while sittin on da porch with his moms, they came up n shot him up. He lived tho.

Another neighbor who moved in later, was on a date with some dude from Compton. Droppin her off after they date, some nikkas(idk if they were blacc or mexicans) come outta nowhere and shoot him dead.

Another time i remember takin out da trash. mind you this was a busy ass street, so in my blocc it was liek 100 nikkas outside every day. Im on da porch waitin for my brother too come. Across da street i see a group of like 3 mexicans who were probably around 16. They were dressed in all blacc n straight creeped around a buildin across da street n let them hammers go off into someones crib. then i see them run out. It was weird cuz one of them had a smirk on his face the entire time, not to mention i felt like i was the only one who saw it happen, it felt like it happned in slow motion.

Breh, I was the youngest too, and as crazy as it sounds I was lucky. I got to be around the madness for the shortest amount of time :wow:
