It's more of a hedge investment. When paper money plummets, precious metals remain valuable. Often increasing in value.

What's the real point in having silver or gold though? How does that shyt REALLY help you?

It's not like you can actually use it for anything. And if the paper markets really do explode we're kinda fukked anyway. Gold can't pay dividends to you, so I'd rather have stocks. You can't live inside of a gold nugget, so I'd rather have real estate. Gold can't produce anything for you, so I'd rather just have a farm or something.

I don't know man, I'm just not really a fan of precious metals.

I've been looking into it since last year. But the shyt is real long term and you'd have to be convinced the dollar/market is going to tank.

I remember one of those gold guys got burned.
He said if you are investing in gold or silver, make sure you invest in delivery of said precious metal and store in a secure location
