I'm one of those guys that won't leave an area until everything is picked up. :childplease:What I look like buying shyt that I could find on the ground? I'd rather save my money for upgrades and other stuff that's only available in the shops. Only times I buy ammo and extra health is when I absolutely NEED to. A dude could be low on ammo and walk by one of those shops like, "nah, i'm good :youngsabo:...will pick some up when I dead these fukks later"...
I am the same way...I picked up every "ruined book" in Fallout 3...had a dude traveling all across the map for a few caps. That's why I became a god later on in the game tho :win:

In-game currency is, more often than not, useless. Scrolled through my 360 game achievements and even the ones that might benefit from spending money in shops, like Assassins Creed games, you can do without most of it and end up unlocking even better shyt down the line anyways.

XCOM enemy unknown is the only game I have right now where money is crucial

For some games it's absolutely necessary. I dare you to try and beat Dead Island without spending any money.

In Skyrim and Fallout I would just murk the traveling salesmen and take their inventory.
In skyrim you can come up on the peddlers being attacked by bandits, let em die even though they're calling out for help, kill the bandits when they attack you (idiots) and make off with their inventory. It always feels like hitting a lick when I find a peddlers body full of alchemy materials on an alchemy heavy build. Anyway, on my first playthrough of Mass Effect and I only just bought a gun about 30 hours into the game. It's one of those 3 star Spectre joints with off the chain damage and accuracy stats. Probably won't switch out for the rest of the game.

Can't man..some games you'd have to spend hours and hours to find that one little item you need.

--Oh wait you mean actually pay real money? Nah never done that once.
